Description
Our Zero lesson plan introduces the concept and history of zero, which enables students to define and identify uses for zero. Students are asked to use their creativity to draft a story with Zero as a character, building their confidence and using their presentation skills when they share their stories with the class. Students are also asked to solve problems in which they multiply, subtract, or add zero and answer questions about the use and function of zero to demonstrate their understanding.
At the end of the lesson, students will be able to define zero, identify uses for zero, and give a brief history of zero.
